Boxing top 10 pound for pound lists are like a-holes... everyone's got one (and it's usually full of sh!t - I add that extra line always for safe measures). Still, that doesn't stop me from peering at the P4P ratings published by various sources. In this latest P4P update - it's ESPN's 10 best.
So how did the top 10 play out in the latest update from ESPN? Truthfully, I feel it's not the fairest P4P ratings out there, but like all P4P ranks, all of it is just based on opinions. Read on...
First place went to Floyd Mayweather Jr., while the second spot went to Manny Pacquiao. Third place was secured by Juan Manuel Marquez and fourth spot was given to Guillermo Rigondeaux. Rounding off the top five was Timothy Bradley Jr.
Sixth place was awarded to Gennady Golovkin and Seventh was held by Roman Gonzalez.. Wladimir Klitschko was ranked Eight, while Sergey Kovalev took ninth sport on the list. Rounding off the top ten was Carl Froch.
