It's either the same old news or fresh news. You decide! According to boxing trainer, Freddie Roach, he believes they are "very close" to making a Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather fight.
"I talked to Bob Arum (Pacquiao's promoter) yesterday," Roach told Michael Woods (from our friends at TheSweetScience.com - an excellent boxing website).
So what did Arum tell Roach? Well whatever he said left Roach feeling very optimistic...
Roach stated to the online publication:
"I think I'm getting close to saying 'it's very close', I think we are very close."
I have to admit, I love the way Woods started his article: "Stop me if you've heard this one before."
