In a report published by the Los Angeles Times, Lance Pugmire reports that an official source close to the negotiations but not authorized to speak on the proceedings, told the publication anonymously that noticeable progress was made in Thursday's negotiations.
The publication further reported that Mayweather is seeking at least a 60-40 in his favor of the revenue sharing (PPV) - something Pacquiao seems willing to accept. The agreed upon venue is the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada. The unnamed source also reports that both sides have agreed on a drug-testing plan.
"The calendar is a factor," the official is quoted by the LA Times as saying. The official further estimated that a final deal could result in the next 7 to 10 days.
