Very sad news hitting the wire at this time. It is now being reported by several media outlets (Doghouse Boxing has yet to confirm these reports) that Venezuelan born, former two-time WBA world champion Antonio Cermeño was murdered today.

According to media reports, early this morning Cermeño's body was found on the side of Caucagua-Higuerote Highway in Venezuela.

Cermeño had been reported kidnapped early this morning.
