You can count Teddy Atlas as one who believes Manny Pacquiao has what it takes to defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr. Pacquiao and Mayweather are set to face off against one another on May 2nd, and Atlas feels Pacquiao's hand speed can play a strong element in the fight and that gives Pacquiao a chance of winning the battle.
Speaking to Newday, Atlas told the publication: "The greatest strength of Mayweather is his greatest weakness."
Atlas went on to add: "He's so defensive that he gives you a chance to go to work. Pacquiao's hand speed gives him an opportunity to outhustle Mayweather and grab some rounds. Floyd's great, but Pacquiao has a chance."
Theodore A. "Teddy" Atlas, Jr. (full name) is an American boxing trainer and fight commentator (ESPN).
