Aside from burning up the pages of tabloid press, what has Floyd 'Money' Mayweather Jr. been up to in recent days? He's been burning some serious rubber (and cash). We are talking hot and fast cars! According to a foot note in a recent article by Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, last Friday with a SHOWTIME video crew in tow (series “All Access”), Floyd 'Money' Mayweather Jr. showed up at a car dealership and bought two high end vehicles. Mayweather purchased a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Bentley Flying Spur... and I don't need to tell you how awesome those two cars are. I am certainly not a hater, and as an avid car enthusiast, what can I say... Floyd has great taste in cars.
According to Clarke, "Money' Mayweather Jr. showed up at Towbin Motorcars on Friday and purchased a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Bentley Flying Spur. Both high end cars retail around $250,000 and can top 200 mph.
According to Bentley Motors, the Flying Spur W12 goes from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 200 mph. 0-60 for the Ferrari is around 3.0 seconds!
Mayweather paid cash (That's about half a million smackaroos!), for both cars.
