Amir Khan says Adrien Broner avoiding him & He's Willing to fight on Floyd Mayweather's Card By Johnny Benz on Doghouse Boxing (March 15, 2014) TweetFollow @DoghouseBoxing
Amir Khan is more than willing to fight on Floyd 'Money' Mayweather Jr's upcoming card (The Moment: Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana - May 3), but if he does, it seems unlikely that it will be against the fighter that Mayweather challenged Khan to face, Adrien Broner. Khan is willing to fight Broner (and let's face it, Broner would more than likely get beat easily by Khan) - but Broner wants no part of Khan (smart move on Broner's part.)
Speaking recently to BBC Radio 5 Live, Khan not only confirmed he is willing to fight on Mayweather's undercard, but questions who it would be against because Adrien Broner has turned down the challenge.
Khan, regarding taking a seat on Mayweather's undercard and Broner's refusal to fight him stated: "We put the fight to Broner - they don't want it... So what do we do? Boxing's a funny business. It's not been confirmed fully just yet who we're going to fight (on Mayweather's undercard)."
Count me in as one of those who has no belief in Broner's abilities, at least not against the likes of Khan... and if Broner had any confidence, he do as big brother Floyd asked him to do, and face off against Khan.
