Manny Pacquiao has been caught Bribing! Total Genius!

Ok, I admit I am having a little fun with the title, simply because I think Manny Pacquiao is a total genius in this particular case. So what's the hoopla over the "bribing"? It has to do with a property Pacquiao was trying to buy in the Los Angeles area. Real estate in LA is fierce, and that is not lost on Pacquiao who was bidding on property that others were also interested in.

Last week Pacquiao was fighting off two other bidders on a $12.5 million-listed, 10,000 square-foot property that Pacman wanted. Pacquiao got the property but not before sweetening the pot of his offer.

How did he do it? For lack of a better word, he bribed the vendor of the property with not one, not two, or three...but four tickets to his fight vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. (set for May 2nd). Now those as we all know are the hottest tickets under the sun.

Ok, now I admit, call it bribery (but not really), call it sweetening the deal... but you can't deny it was pure genious from Pacquiao.

Regarding how the four tickets helped seal the deal, Pacquiao's realtor, Elsa Nelson, told USA TODAY Sports: "No doubt it helped. The sellers are great fans of boxing and of Manny, so it was a big deal."
