Shortly after Manny Pacquiao's hard fought and well-earned victory vs. Timothy Bradley (win by way of UD 12), Boxing Promoter Bob Arum took to the podium at the post presser. Did he speak of Floyd Mayweather? And was the topic Mayweather vs. Pacquiao and what we must do? And does the beat goes on?...
Arum blasted: "The only people that can make Floyd Mayweather fight Manny is the public, if they boycott the nonsense on May 3 (Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana)."
Arum went on to add: "That is what the public should do, If the media want that fight, tell the public not to buy pay per view and not to buy tickets. There is no other strategy."
"We are prepared tomorrow to sit down at a table with his people to work out the conditions for the fight."
Reality is, the most likely fight next for Pacquiao will come against another Top Rank fighter in Juan Manuel Marquez.. Nothing Fans and media have said in the past half decade and counting is going to get Mayweather vs. Pacquiao to happen.
