Speaking recently on Sky Sports' Toe 2 Toe podcast, Amir Khan spoke out on his rival, Kell Brook. Khan confirmed the two are not friends and have sparred one another in the past. Khan does not back up Brook's claims that he got the better of the two in sparring. In fact Khan believes that deep down inside, Brook himself knows it.
Regarding Brook,
Khan stated: "We're not friends but we've sparred each other."
Khan added: "He says he got the better of me, but I know I got the better of him and he knows that deep down, but he still won't admit it."
If Kell proves himself against Shawn Porter, Khan thinks he will then deserve a crack at him. "I respect Brook, he is a good fighter, but he hasn't proven himself," said Khan, who added that a good performance against Porter could earn him a shot.
