A legendary fighter no doubt, and now he is ready at age 51 to hang up the gloves. According to quotes circulating in the media, Evander Holyfield is finally ready to hang up the gloves and call it quits on his professional career.
When asked if he planned on fighting, Holyfield who is being inducted into the Nevada Hall of Fame, stated:
"No, I'm done."
Regarding his retirement, Holyfield went on to add: "They're putting me in the Hall of Fame on the 9th (August, 2014), so it will be official."
Holyfield concluded: "Won't nobody fight me, and now, I don’t want to get hit."
