Fans of Miguel Cotto have good reason to feel bummed out today as their fighter who was expected to return to the ring soon, is now holding off until sometime in the New Year. For many of you reading this now, this simply is not good news.
Cotto took to his twitter account (social media) and tweeted: "Fans I wanted to share with you all that my return to the ring will be in early 2015!!. Thank you for the amazing support. #WarCotto"
According Top Rank (the promotional outfit Cotto is attached too) president Todd duBoef speaking to ESPN confirmed that Cotto would fight early next year in February or March. Cotto's return (according to duBoef) will be a Pay-Pre-View event.
