According to a tweet posted late last night by Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated (CNN), Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Joshua Clottey will be announced today.
Mannix tweeted: "Golden Boy will announce tomorrow Canelo Alvarez vs. Josh Clottey in December on HBO, per sources. Golden Boy-HBO reconciliation continues.

In a follow-up tweet, Mannix gave his opinion on the Canelo vs.Clottey match-up...
Mannix posted: "Canelo-Clottey is a truly terrible fight. Borderline unwatchable and laughable that Clottey gets it. But it sets up Canelo-Cotto in May."
