According to reports now circulating by various media sources, Ukraine's Viktor Postol has agreed that he is willing to accept step-aside cash to to not force his mandatory position on WBC champ, Danny Garcia.
Via twitter, Danny "Swift" Garcia had this to say regarding Postol: "No disrespect, but I didn’t even know who Postol was till about a week ago. He doesn’t even have any notable wins."
The reported step-aside deal is only temporary, giving both Garcia and Postol the option to fight someone else in the next four months, after which, should Postol win, he'd keep his place as Garcia's mandatory challenger.
