After Manny Pacquiao's victory over Chris Algieri, the cattle calls for Floyd Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is back in full swing. Of course, to any real fan worth their spit in salt, this is just more annoyance than anything... simply because we are beyond tired of all the talk... make the damn fight already! Our friends at OTR (On The Ropes Radio with Host, Jenna J) recently caught up with Floyd Mayweather Sr. (you can catch the full radio program on our home page here at Dog House Boxing, as well as a link directly to the full transcripts of the interview linked to OTR on our home page news wire.)
So Jenna J. asked the question that is probably most important to readers and listeners of the program: " Do you think your son wants to fight Pacquiao now just to get it over with?"
No Surprise!
Of course, the response was as usual not clear and leaves fans on the same path.... keep on guessing.
Floyd Mayweather Sr. answered Jenna's question by stating: "I’m looking at the situation and it’s not exactly clear what’s happening with Floyd but I’ll tell you this right here, I’m pretty sure if there’s fight, I’m pretty sure he’d come out on top. Floyd, at the end of the day, what he decides to do and what he wants to do, it’s on him. All I can do is sit back and look."
Pretty much the same answer for over half a decade now.
If Floyd Mayweather Jr. (and Sr.) is so certain of a victory... then make the fight happen. The excuses have piled up more than your local garbage dump... and the smell is even worse.
