Kell Brook is pleading his case for a fight with Amir Khan. Brook not only feels he is a better fighter than Khan, but also feels a fight vs. himself is a better option than Floyd Mayweather Jr. for Khan.
Brook feels Khan wants Mayweather only for a pay day because he won't beat Mayweather. Quoted by ESPN, Brook stated: "All Amir is about is he's in there for the big pay day against Mayweather. He wants to fight Mayweather and when he loses he's got a big bag of dosh and then there's still the fight with me that he will get well paid for. But that's not how it should work."
Brook went on to add that not only is he the best fighter in the UK, but he also feels he would make more money for Khan than a fight with Mayweather would, stating:
"He says he wants the big fights but he's not even the best in Britain, I am, and he could earn more money fighting me than Mayweather."
Doubtfull any of this will land Brook the fight he wants anytime soon, but you can't blame a guy for trying.
