It would be in the best interest of Amir Khan to do his best and defeat Devon Alexander this coming Saturday because one of the biggest names in the game has him in his cross hairs. That name... Manny Pacquiao.
Recently quoted by The Telegraph (A UK based media publication), Pacquiao stated he wants Khan in 2015 and would like the venue to be in England at the famed Wembley Stadium.
Speaking to Gareth A. Davies (the well liked veteran boxing scribe), regarding facing Khan in 2015, Pacquiao stated: "That's good, if the fight will be in England, that's a good idea."
Pacquiao went on to add he's up for it as long as his promoter (Bob Arum) agrees. How could Arum not agree? Let's face it, the potential for making this a mega-blockbuster in terms of PPV revenue... you know Arum (Top Rank) won't overlook the thought of this intriguing match-up.
So, if Khan needs any incentive to beat Alexander... this is it.
Pacman vs. Khan... do you like the sound of that? I bet Khan does!
