Who's a bigger Name? Amir Khan or Kell Brook? Eddie Hearn admits it's...

Amir Khan, Kell Brook, Eddie Hearn
L-R: Amir Khan, Kell Brook, Eddie Hearn
What does Eddie Hearn do best? He promotes, and he's damn good at it. What makes Hearn lick his lips? Pitting his fighter, Kell Brook against the likes of Amir Khan.

It might not sound that pleasing to North American fans, but across the pond over in the UK, you can bet there are a lot of fans who'd pay good money to see it. You can also understand why Hearn would be talking about this potential match-up as much as he can. But who holds the cards in terms of popularity?

Recently quoted by Sky Sports (a UK based publication), Hearn admitted that Khan was a more popular name (fighter), but pointed out that Brook owns a title.

Hearn stated to the publication: "Everyone wants to see it; it's a wonderful fight. Amir Khan is a bigger name than Kell Brook; Kell Brook is a champion of the world. "

Well, for Eddie Hearn and many fans (I'm sure), the fight remains a pipe dream. Khan and his promoter, Oscar De La Hoya (Golden Boy Promotions) are keen on facing Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Manny Pacquiao (perhaps also pipe dreams), and with names in the mix like that... Brook vs. Khan is a low priority..
