In boxing action on Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan, Naoya Inoue (115 lbs.) remained undefeated and gained the WBO super flyweight title in a short fight that saw Omar Narvaez (114.5 lbs.) knocked out in the 2nd round.
Inoue made easy work out of Narvaez by dropping him twice in the first round, and again in the 2nd round. Narvaez was counted out in the 2nd round at 2:59.
With the victory,
Inoue's record improves to 8-0, 7 KOs. Narvaez' record drops to 43-2-2, 23 KOs.
