This year's honor bestowed by Yahoo (Iole) for trainer of the year is... the one and only, Freddie Roach.
Not only did Iole pick Freddie Roach as trainer of the year, he even had some very high praise for the veteran trainer.
In picking Roach as trainer of the year, Iole writes: "Roach has become so good, he might have even surpassed (Eddie) Futch as the greatest trainer who has ever lived."
