Boxing Punch stats for Manny Pacquiao's defeat of Shane Mosley

Who doesn't find punch stats in Boxing interesting? I always do. Here are some punch statistics I found to be interesting in regards to Manny Pacquiao's domination of Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Manny Pacquiao landed 182 of a total of 552 punches thrown. That gave Pacquiao a connect rate of 33%. Pacquiao landed 134 power shots out of a total of 284 thrown. That gave Pacquiao a connect rate of 47.2%.

Shane Mosley landed 82 of a total 260 punches thrown. That gave Molsey a connect rate of 31.5%. Mosley landed 31 out of just 61 power shots. That gave Mosley a connect rate of 50.8%.

The statistical numbers clearly show that Pacquiao indeed dominated Mosley.
