Floyd Mayweather boxing Manny Pacquiao after Victor Ortiz? Roger Mayweather speaks out

Are you expecting Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao after Mayweather faces Victor Ortiz on September 17th? Roger Mayweather, the boxing trainer (and uncle) for "Money" Mayweather is not expecting his fighter to step into the ring with Pacquiao after fighting Ortiz.

Quoted recently by the Examiner, Roger believes "Money" Mayweather needs to be more active and will need some tune-up fights before getting in the ring with Pacquiao.

"It would be crazy for Floyd to go in the ring with Pacquiao after fighting Victor Ortiz," said Roger, adding: "Floyd needs fights. He needs to be active."

I would expect that "Money" Mayweather would want some tune-ups before Pacquiao (although I do not feel Ortiz is a tune-up, and I do think Mayweather will defeat him.)

At this rate, it could be well into 2012 and beyond before we get Floyd "Money" Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao.
