Brazilian Police investigating a murder are wanting to question former 4 time world boxing champion Acelino "Popo" Freitas. Police are investigating the murder of a man who had a relationship with Freitas' 17 year old niece.
According to reports playing out in the media, Police have heard from witnesses familiar to the murder case that Freitas "allegedly" had ordered the killing of the man because he was not in approval of the relationship the man had with his young niece.
At this time Police are making it clear they not accusing the boxer of any wrongdoing. Investigator Francineide Moura was quoted by the media indicating that Freitas will be called to tell his story to Police on Thursday.
