Legendary Boxing trainer, Freddie Roach likes what he sees in Manny Pacquiao's first training session for his upcoming battle against Antonio Margarito. Pacquiao is set to face off against Margarito at the Dally Cowboys Stadium in Arlington Texas on November 13.

Quoted by the Manila Bulletin, Roach who arrived in the Philippines last Sunday, stated that although his star pupil, Pacquiao is far from being in top shape, it is what is to be expected. Roach, quoted by the Filipino based publication,
stated: "He’s still far from being in shape, but that’s okay with me in his first day of training. It is a very typical opening day of training for Manny."

Roach went on to add that Pacquiao's timing is off, but his power is not. "The timing isn't there yet, but the power in his hands was very evident and so was his speed. But I’ll keep on pushing him until our game plan is reached. He's very strong as before."
