In a recent article by Mike Houser for The Nevada Appeal, Houser quoted two well respected trainers on their feeling towards Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Ricky Hatton. Houser got both Manny Steward and Ronnie Shields to give their opinion and who they were picking to win.

Manny Steward was quoted saying: "Logic dictates that you have to go with Mayweather."

Steward added: "Regardless of what some people may think, he's a fantastic fighter. He may talk and all that (BS), but he's still a great fighter - a phenomenal fighter."

Steward's choice: "Based on his talent and skill, I'm going with Floyd."

Ronnie Shields stated: "Floyd Mayweather is going to beat the hell out of him,"

Shields added: "I think it will be a good fight. Hatton is such a good competitor and he comes to fight. But Floyd is in a class all by himself right now. I haven't seen a style that Floyd hasn't been able to handle."

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Ricky Hatton is set for December 8th and can be seen on HBO Pay-Per-View.
