Ricky Hatton on UFC, Boxing and UFC fighter's salaries

Ricky Hatton's first love may be Boxing, but that doesn't stop the popular Icon from enjoying the UFC as well. Like most fans of Boxing, Hatton has much respect for the athletes that make up the Martial Arts scene.

Hatton, also like many fans of Boxing does not see UFC as a threat. Quoted recently by the Sun Uk, Hatton tells the publication: "I don’t think (UFC) it’s a threat. Boxing is boxing - they are two different sports"

Hatton admires the fact that the athletes in UFC have evolved and are getting paid well, stating: "The guys in MMA now aren’t the big bully types that wrestle in the corners like when they started out. These are trained athletes who get well paid."
