David Haye recently took to his twitter account to state his next fight is almost confirmed. Haye posted on his twitter account: "My next fight close to being confirmed!!"

So who is the opponent? Tom Hardy. You might ask, who is Tom Hardy? He's the bad guy (Bane) in the new Batman Movie, "The Dark Knight Rises". Are you scrathing your head right now? Keep reading...

The tweet from Haye (which you can see on this page) came with a link to an article on the Sun (U.K. media publication). You can read the full article by the Sun by clicking the link at the bottom of this article.

Quoted by the Sun, Haye states: "Me and Tom Hardy, that would be a good fight for sure. He has got in fantastic shape... he looks like an absolute tank. He can be my next opponent."

For his part, Hardy in the article linked above, states: "I’ve never fought a professional heavyweight, it’ll be an experience."

The fight with Hardy would be strictly for charity.

Aside from playing Batman's latest villain in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises", actor Tom Hardy can also be seen on the big screen on August 29th in a new movie called "Lawless" starring alongside Shia Labeouf.
