Boxing Promoter Oscar De La Hoya has a message for Olympic Gold medalist, Claressa Shields

By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. - Olympic Boxing Gold is no easy task. After securing the Gold in Women's Boxing at the 2012 Olympic games in London, you can bet Claressa Shields is a name on everyone's lips today.

Boxing promoter and also a proud owner of an Olympic gold medal in the sport, Oscar De La Hoya took to his twitter account and posted messages to USA's latest gold medal winner, Shields.


In recent tweets directed at Shields, De La Hoya tweeted: "Yessss!!! USA gold for boxer @Claressashields congratulations. You are a great example that in this life anything is possible."

De La Hoya further tweeted: "What an amazing inspiration @Claressashields wishing you nothing but the best."

I have to agree with everything De La Hoya stated. Congratulations Claressa! Welcome to the Doghouse!
