By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. - Count me in as one of those who is not the least bit interested in
throwing down my cash on another PPV (Pay-per-view) featuring Manny
Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez.
Apparently
Pacquiao knows damn well that I am not the only one who feels this way
because the Filipino fighter who has looked anything but stellar in his
last few performances, is defending the choice of another round
(4th battle) with Marquez.
Quoted by ESPN, Pacquiao stated: "I chose to fight Marquez because we have exciting fights."
So
if this is the case, then every damn fight Pacquiao has, he might as
well fight Marquez. I mean, if I am to believe his reasoning.
Pacquiao
added: "If I had chosen to fight (Timothy) Bradley we would get a
one-sided fight. It would be boring. What do I need to prove to Bradley?
What do I need to prove to the fans with that fight? I did good in our
last fight. The fight was one-sided."
Well ok then. Go ahead Pacquiao, you can just ignore the elephant in the room... just keep ignoring Floyd "Money" Mayweather, and keep ignoring the fans. Then again, it only took Mayweather one fight to prove he was better against Marquez.... Pacquiao needs a fourth one. Think about that for a second.
