Yes, we have No Pacquiao vs Mayweather in Early 2013

By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. If just by chance you might have a feeling that Manny Pacquiao vs.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. might happen in early 2013, think again. I know, I
know... you've long given up hope on this fight anyway (but lets face it... you're smarter than most). Regardless,
after Manny Pacquiao faces Juan Manuel Marquez at the end of this year,
he will then be shifting his focus on to the upcoming elections in the
Philippines.
Quoted on ESPN, Pacquiao recently
stated: "I'm a congressman in my country. So I need to get ready for the
election. It's May 2013. The politics over there is so different than
here. I would never run for office here. Right now, I don't have an
opponent so I need to get ready."
As Pacquiao states, Elections are on May 13th... So you know that the first part of 2013 has already been spoken for in terms of what's on Pacquiao's schedule.
Scrap the idea of a Mayweather fight period, and it still leaves Boxing fans
with the unsettling fact that it will more than likely be the summer of
2013 or beyond until when we see Pacquiao fight again. So the 4th battle against Juan
Manuel Marquez is probably the last action we will see from Pacquiao for
awhile.
