By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. According to reports in the media, former Boxing Champ Paul Spadafora (Spaddy) is being sued by an ex-manager. Al McCauley, the
ex-manager, is suing Spadafora over unpaid fees from his last fight as
well as trying to enforce a contract that he claims is still valid.
Spadafora's lawyer is blowing off the allegations and reportedly told the media that basically the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission refused to do anything with McCauley's claims, so the former manager is trying to get an Allegheny County Judge to do something about it.

In another legal case,
last week you may recall it was Floyd Mayweather Jr. who was ordered by a judge to pay Manny Pacquiao's legal fees, totaling $114,000
for failure to show up and answer questions from Pacquiao's legal
defense team. Yesterday, the defamation suit filed by Pacquiao
against Mayweather Jr. was resolved. The
terms of the settlement have not been disclosed. Both sides are asking the Judge to now dismiss the case.
