By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. Police seems to be making some lead way into the murder of former
Heavyweight Boxing Champ, Corrie Sanders. South African Police have confirmed they
have 3 people in custody in connection with the disgusting and terrible
crime. All 3 are young Adults, one is 19 and the other two that have
been arrested are 20 years of age.
Sanders died
from gun shot wounds he sustained on Saturday when violent robbers
bursted into a restaurant (the Thatch Haven Country Lodge, in Brits, North West) in which Sanders and his family had gathered for a birthday party. Sanders passed away from his injuries in the early ours of Sunday.
Police,
acting on a tip arrested the 3 suspects. Police have confirmed in the
media that money, a purse, mobile phone and a key to a vehicle had been
collected in the arrest as evidence.
The 3 suspects will appear before on Judge on Monday on charges of armed robbery and murder.
I
strongly believe in innocent until proven guilty, but I hope that if
these 3 (who's names have yet to be released) are found guilty by the
judicial system... I honestly hope the Judge throws the book at them.
