By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. Who's the best in Boxing? Well the answer to that can always be found
on the many Pound for Pound lists out there. In a recent P4P Update on
ESPN, Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. is ranked number one. It really
wasn't too long ago when ESPN ranked Manny Pacquiao as their number one,
but in the latest update, the Pacman has dropped to number 4.
The
second best pound for pound boxer as ranked by ESPN is Andre Ward,
followed by Sergio Martinez in the third spot. As I stated, Pacquiao
was ranked number four and his December 8th opponent, Juan Manuel
Marquez is ranked number five.
The Top 5 as ranked by Espn.com:
1. FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. - Record: 43-0, 26 KOs
2. ANDRE WARD - Record: 26-0, 14 KOs
3. SERGIO MARTINEZ - Record: 50-2-2, 28 KOs
4. MANNY PACQUIAO - Record: 54-4-2, 38 KOs
5. JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ - Record: 54-6-1, 39 KOs
