Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather on April 20th?

By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. How much longer will boxing fans have to wait until Manny Pacquiao
and Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. get it on in the ring? Could the date
be April 20h, 2013? Your guess is as good as mine, but I mention that
particular date because according to promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank, this
is date he has booked for Pacquiao's return, should the Filipino
fighter get past his next task, a 4th fight with Juan Manuel Marquez set for Dec 8.
Recently quoted on the Manila Bulletin, Arum confirmed Pacquiao's return fight date, stating: "I have talked with Manny and we agreed to hold his fight (in 2013) on April 20."
Now
unfortunately Arum did not make mention that it would be a date set
aside for Floyd Mayweather, but to be fair, Arum is only looking at
another fight date for Pacquiao and does not want to look past Juan
Manuel Marquez. I can somewhat understand that, as Marquez has proved
to be anything but easy for Pacquiao in their first 3 encounters... he
is not a fighter one should look past. What I won't be able to understand is if they choose to ignore Mayweather for April 20th. After all, we've all been waiting far too long for a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather battle.
