Erik Morales says he wasn't on Drugs vs. Manny Pacquiao or Marco Antonio Barerra - "I'm Clean" and cleared by USADA to fight Danny Garcia

By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. Late on Friday, Erik Morales claimed he got a telephone call from the USADA (U.S.
Anti-Doping Agency) telling him that a 3rd test he provided to them showed
clean results and his fight on Saturday night with Danny Garcia at the
Barclays Center could go ahead as planned.
A previous drug test
conducted this week showed a trace amount of clenbuteral. Two new
samples were tested on Friday. The first showed a very small amount of clenbuteral, while a 2nd test came back clean (with no traces of clenbuteral).
Morales said he was confident he would be cleared by the USADA because
he has never used drugs (steroids) in any fight including matches
against great fighters like Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Barrera.
Through
an interpreter, Morales stated: "Ive been facing great fighters like
(Manny) Pacquiao and (Marco Antonio) Barrera and I never failed a drug
test. I’m clean."
Morales and his handlers believe his failed drug test earlier this week came from something related to food such as contaminated meat.

Danny "Swift" Garcia vs. Erik Morales headlines Saturday's 4x header at the new Barclays Center, Brooklyn NY. The fight will be shown LIVE on TV with SHOWTIME. The card has a start time of 8:00 p.m. ET/PT (Oct. 20). Other bouts on the card are Paulie Malignaggi vs. Pablo Cesar Cano, Peter Quillin vs. Hassan H'Dam and Devon Alexander vs. Randal Bailey.
