Saul Alvarez wants Miguel Cotto, Sergio Martinez or Floyd Mayweather Jr next! Return Boxing date announced

By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. It seems we won't be seeing Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez back in the ring until next year's Cinco de Mayo.
According to a recent report published by the Los Angeles Times,
Saul Alvarez's promoter, Richard Schaefer (CEO for Oscar De La
Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions) tells the publication that his fighter doesn't want to fight again until the beginning of May of next year.
Not
only does Alvarez insist on Cinco de Mayo being his next fight date, but Schaefer also
revealed that he (Canelo) wants his next match-up to be big, against either Floyd "Money"
Mayweather Jr., Sergio Martinez or Miguel Cotto.
The likely candidate for 'Canelo' is Miguel Cotto (should he pass his Dec. 1st engagement with against Austin Trout), at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
