During
the interview, when asked by Jenna if Manny Pacquiao needs to beat Juan
Manuel Marquez in an impressive manner in order to get a fight with
Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr., Malignaggi stated: "I don't know what is
needed to get the fight made, but obviously to create more demand, a
knock out is nice."
Malignaggi added: "But really I don't know
if demand even matters anymore, there was a lot of demand two years ago
and the fight never got made, so I am not quite sure what it is going to
take to make a fight. I don't know if the fight will get made or the
results of the fight will matter. I think people look to deeply into the
situation.
