Floyd Mayweather wins 1 Million Dollars in a truly Crazy Manner - They don't call him "Money" For Nothing!

When it comes to laying down some serious cash for a gambling bet, I
must admit that Floyd Mayweather Jr. has a set of balls so large that he
must need a wheelbarrow to lug them around. In a recent tweet update
from his official account, Mayweather Jr. posted a winning million
dollar ticket. Now if that wasn't insane enough, the truly crazy part
is, he had to lay down 1.1 million dollars on the line to make that bet.
In other words, had he not won, he would have lost 1.1 million.
Luckily for him, the outcome was favorable. Wow, what can I say? They
don't call him "Money" for nothing (and yes Dire Straits... I imagine
the Chicks come free).
You can see an image of the
winning ticket on this page. It was accompanied by this tweet from
Mayweather: "I bet $1,100,000 on Oregon to make a million dollars".
Obviously and honestly, I am amazed. Me,
the most I can afford to gamble is a few dollars on a lottery ticket...
and even that I have a hard time parting with my money. I can't even
begin to wrap my mind around placing a 1.1 million dollar bet. I'd need
a sports almanac handed to me from the future as in Bif-style from the
movie Back to the Future II, before I could make that kind of bet.
I am sure "Money" Mayweather knows when to walk away from the table... so I wish him the best of luck and that he keeps winning.
