By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. To my delight, since I enjoy Boxing and the art form of the tweet
(twitter), Manny Pacquiao has stepped up his presence on his twitter
page in recent weeks. Ahead of his clash with Juan Manuel Marquez (set
for Dec. 8), Pacquiao has taken some time out of his hectic training
schedule to keep his fan base informed.
In a recent tweet just
posted moments ago, Pacquiao gave Boxing fans an update on what he did
in training today at the Wild Card Boxing Gym with Freddie Roach. Pacquiao not only stated that he went 13 rounds on the mitts, but that Freddie Roach said to him that he wore him out. For Pacquiao, it was a fun day.
Updating his fans through twitter, Pacquiao tweeted: "I did 13 rounds on the mitts with today. I wanted to do more but he said I wore him out! Fun day at Wild Card."
It's
great to know Pacquiao is putting in the hard work, and 13 rounds and
wanting more seems impressive. So far it sounds like Pacquiao has been
have a great training camp... something he will need as he steps in the
ring to face Marquez for a 4th time.
In the old
days, we would have gotten this sort of info by way of a press
release... but with twitter... we don't need no stinking press releases.
Pacquiao has 741,087 registered Twitter Followers, a number that keeps climbing daily (especially when he is tweeting).
