By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. If you've been on twitter tonight, then you'll know the topic of note is that Barack Obama vs. Mitt Romney presidential election thingy going on. You probably heard about it... I think I seen it on the news and in tv commercials a few times over the last couple of months. Still if your lucky, even on a night like tonight, you can still get some quick twitter updates from your favorite boxers... like Manny Pacquiao for instance. Although he is busy as hell with media obligations, not to mention that daunting little thing called training (for his Dec 8th battle with Juan Manuel Marquez), he has still made some time each day to update his fans through twitter.

In a recent quick update, Pacquiao posted he did an interview with Antonio Marco Barrera today. The tweet came with a photo. Now those of us who are diehards for the sport, will take this photo into consideration as an iconic moment. Two super stars, one present, one from the past, who were at one time ring enemies, now sharing moments together.

To you, it may be nothing, but it's stuff like this that make me really love twitter. Twitter keeps things real with simplicity. A photo, some text and you are last with what can often times be a lasting impression.
