By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. Wondering what Floyd Mayweather Jr's reaction might be to this weekend's
battle in which Juan Manuel Marquez knocked out Manny Pacquiao at the
end of round 6? Well you just knew it wouldn't take long for
Mayweather Jr. to give his thoughts on the matter...
Quoted
recently on FightHype.com, regarding his thoughts on the fight,
Mayweather stated: ""Things happen. You live and you learn."
Mayweather also went on to wish Pacquiao all the best, but believes that Pacquiao piggybacked off his name make a good living.
Mayweather
quoted by the publication, stated: "I wish Pacquiao nothing but the
best. I wish that he can bounce back and he can recoup from this. In the
sport of boxing, you have to really dedicate yourself to your craft.
You have to really, really dedicate yourself to your craft. I think he's
got so many different things on the outside that he worries about, you
know. But it was a good thing that he was able to come into the sport,
you know, piggyback off my name, and get a bunch of endorsement deals
and make a good living. That's a great thing."
Mayweather also stated that he believes that Marquez and Pacquiao put on a great show.
