Felix Trinidad's Father, Felix Trinidad Sr. recently hooked up with the Spanish Publication, El Nuevo Dia and discussed Oscar De La Hoya's devastating 8th round TKO loss to Manny Pacquiao that happened at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this past Saturday.

In quotes from the El Nuevo Dia that have been translated from Spanish to English by BoxingScene's very own Mark Vester, Trinidad Sr. highly respected in the Boxing Industry, stated he feels De La Hoya should not take anymore fights, but feels it's a personal decision to make, one that should be left to De La Hoya and his close family to make.

Translated by Vester from the Spanish Publication, Trinidad Sr. stated: "I wouldn't dare tell him [to retire]. It's something very personal. As any other fighter, he has to sit down with his wife and family and decide what to do and take into consideration that his health is at risk."
