By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. For Boxing fans of Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr., 2013 is shaping up to be a good year. Especially now that Leonard Ellerbe, Boxing adviser to "Money" Mayweather Jr. recently went on record and confirmed plans for two fight. So, who might the two lucky fighters be?

Recently quoted on ESPN, although Ellerbe would confirm a plan to schedule two fights in '13, he did not divulge who "Money" Mayweather's opponents might be. Here is what he did say however in regards to the lucky foe...

Ellerbe, tells ESPN: "Floyd Mayweather has a plethora of options. Who doesn't want to fight Floyd 'Money' Mayweather and make the most money they ever made in their career? You hit the lottery once you've become a Floyd Mayweather opponent."

Lottery is one good way of putting it. Ellerbe is right though, you've hit the jackpot with a "Money" Mayweather fight.

One such fighter making claims that he is closing in on a "Money" Mayweather fight is Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez. Recently, 'Canelo' Alvarez took to his facebook page to confirm he was close to securing a fight with "Money" Mayweather for Cinco De Mayo. You can read about that here:
