Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton - And the Winner Is...
By John Benz (Feb 26, 2009) DoghouseBoxing
Anyone who thinks they know who is going to win May 2nd's battle between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton is kidding themselves. This is one of those fights that if I were a betting man, I'd be terrified on who I should put my money on. I was one of the first to go one record that Oscar De La Hoya didn't have much of a chance against Pacquiao, but Hatton is different. Much different.

This fight will be an eyeball's delight. It will be a slugfest, and a brutal one at that. It's a fight that makes more
sense than the money grabbing fight with De La Hoya. Now I don't blame Pacquiao for going for a huge money fight with De La Hoya. After all, Pacquiao deserved a substantial payday... but it was just as I had expected, an easy payday. Hatton is not, and will not be an easy payday.

I am surprised at how many predictions I have already read circulating on websites, and media outlets. Many have even gone as far to predict what round the fighter of their choice will win in. Some have even gone on record and classified the fight as a mismatch! Personally I have to wonder if those writers are writing from the brain or the heart? It sounds too me more like cheer leading and not objective writing. Well, what can I say or expect? I mean after all, if Video Killed the Radio Star.... then what the Internet did to Writing should in itself be a crime.

Look, bottom line... this is one of those fights that you must see, but might want to seriously think about NOT betting any money on. There is no certain outcome... no matter what any die-hard tells you. This is one of those fights worth paying for because other than telling you to expect fireworks... I can't honestly tell you who will win. No one can.
