Floyd Mayweather Jr Speaks - He's ready to Break Boxing Records with Shane Mosley

When it comes to being a big draw on TV through Pay-Per-View, Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. is no slouch. Big numbers in regards to people tuning in on TV and purchasing this weekend's PPV between "Money" Mayweather Jr. and "Sugar" Shane Mosley are pretty much expected.

In regards to how this weekend's HBO TV Pay-Per-View might pan out in sales, "Money" Mayweather who arrived in Las Vegas yesterday stated all he can do is wish for the best. "All I can do is hope for the best. There is no limit
to what we can do. The sky is not even the limit," stated "Money" Mayweather.

"Money" Mayweather went on to add although there is no way to predicted how many will purchase the fight on TV, he did throw around some numbers. "If they did say a fight is going to do 700,000 homes, it will do something like 1.4 million. We can never predict a certain number," stated "Money" Mayweather, adding: "The ultimate goal is to always break records."

This weekend's fight could easily break records as both fighters are popular amongst fans, and truthfully, fans are expecting to witness an excellent fight.

HBO is offering the Pay-Per-View in HDTV for those with TV sets that can handle streaming in HD. The "Money" Mayweather vs. "Sugar" Mosley pay-per-view telecast has a start time of 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The suggested purchasing price for this event is $54.95 (but HD-TV stream could cost a little more.) Check with your local cable provider or satellite dish receiver for more details.
