Floyd "Money" Mayweather has a strong interest in cleaning up the sport when it comes to drugs. "Money" Mayweather is concerned with what he believes is cheating going on in the sport, and that is one of the main reasons why he is demanding strict USADA Drug testing in his bout this coming Saturday against "Sugar" Shane Mosley.

In recent quotes sent to us here at Doghouse Boxing, "Money" Mayweather gave his reasoning for demanding strict drug testing which includes random blood and urine testing. First, "Money" Mayweather made it clear that he is a clean fighter, stating:
"There are all these athletes out there cheating. I am clean and pure."

"Money" Mayweather is very serious about the drug testing, because of all the fighters that have either gone into comas and / or died. "You see so many different fighters going into comas and dying," stated Mayweather, adding: "All fighters are taking is a urine test. From what I hear, enhancement drugs are making these fighters punch harder and all it is doing is hurting the sport."

"Money" Mayweather wants a fair playing field for all, and believes that Drug testing will separate the good from the great. "I want to be able to separate the average from the good and from the great. I want to separate the ordinary from the extraordinary."

On Saturday night, May 2, Floyd "Money" Mayweather takes on "Sugar" Shane Mosley. You can catch the fight live on TV with HBO PPV starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The live Televised PPV has a suggested purchasing price of $54.95. HBO is also offering the live telecast in HD-TV for those viewers with TVs that can stream the event in HD.
