On Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, moments after scoring a thrilling one sided 12 round unanimous decision victory over Shane Mosley, Floyd Mayweather Jr had plenty to say to the TV crowd. Larry Merchant who in my opinion is a living legend who does the best live TV ringside interviews, once again did a great job on the HBO telecast.

Basically, "Money" Mayweather off the bat told Merchant that "Fans wanted to see me moving and thats what I did."
Mayweather in his opening statement also thanked God. In regards to round 2 when Mosley had Floyd in some trouble, "Money" stated: "Shane Mosley is a tough customer...what can I say?"

The big questions came when Merchant (bless his heart) started probing Mayweather over a possible showdown with Manny Pacquiao. When asked if a fight with Pacquiao would be possible, Mayweather stated:" If Manny Pacquiao wants to fight....its not hard to find me. We tried a few months back... so we move on."

Merchant asked Mayweather if the stumbling block was the drug testing issue? Mayweather stated: Mosley had problems in the past but he took the tests I asked. If every boxer is clean, then take the test."

"Money" Mayweather added: "If Pacquiao takes the blood and urine tests... then we have a fight. Merchant then asked: "and if he doesn't?", to which "Money" responded: "Then we don't have a fight."
