Floyd Mayweather Boxing adviser speaks out on Manny Pacquiao / Freddie Roach Claim

According to a report out yesterday by the Associated Press, Manny Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach was quoted as saying that talks between his fighter and Floyd "Money" Mayweather's, could resume as early as Tuesday. Hold the bus one moment! Leonard Ellerbe, a man well respected in the Boxing community as well as the personal adviser to "Money" Mayweather, is saying not so!

Ellerbe is dismissing Roach's published claims as nothing short of "ridiculous." Quoted in the Grand Rapids Press, Ellerbe
made it clear, "Money" ain't thinking about no one... not Manny Pacquiao, not Roach or Pacquaio's promoter, Bob Arum.

So as far as talks resuming on Tuesday... forget about it! Ain't happening, as there really is no reason to doubt Ellerbe.

Ellerbe quoted by the Grand Rapids Press in regards to negotiations between "Money" and "Pacman" stated: "Ain't nobody (referring to Mayweather) thinking about Manny Pacquiao, Bob Arum or Freddie Roach."

Ellerbe went on to add that there aren't any negotiations starting: "There ain't no negotiations starting, period. Floyd is just coming off a great win (referring to his unanimous decision over Shane Mosley). He's not thinking about any of them."

Roach's quotes made international sports headlines, but Ellerbe has now made it clear that the comments by Roach of negotiations maybe starting as early as Tuesday, won't be happening.
