Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. is not thinking about Manny Pacquiao these days. This is basically what Leonard Ellerbe, Money's adviser, told the Grand Rapids Press earlier this week. Ellerbe was speaking out to squash comments from Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach, who was quoted earlier this week by the Associated Press as stating that negotiations for a fight with "Pacman" and "Money" could start as early as Tuesday.

Although "Money" Mayweather's side isn't thinking about Pacquiao, the same doesn't seem true for Pacquiao's side, which
are talking about a match with "Money".

Pacquiao himself was quoted recently by the Associated Press, and it was obvious "Money" Mayweather is on the mind of Pacquiao's.

Speaking to the AP, Pacquiao told the worldwide publication: "The people are requesting that I fight Mayweather before I retire."

Pacquiao wasn't willing to comment if he would continue boxing, but if he does, he feels he will give in to the demands of the people and face off against "Money" Mayweather. "If I ever fight again, I think I will give in to the request of the people," stated Pacquiao to the AP.

Pacquiao is already talking about "If" he ever fights again. That is no a good sign for fans, as it means that Pacquiao is considering, or at least thinking about retirement.  If there is any good news in his statement, it is the fact that if he does keep on going in the sport, he has "Money" in his target and will abide by the wishes of the fans.
