If Floyd Mayweather Jr's unanimous decision victory over Juan Manuel Marquez wasn't impressive enough for you, then the Pay-Per-View numbers will knock your socks off. Today HBO announced the fight held at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas managed to pull in 1 million pay-per-view buys!

Yes Folks, Floyd Mayweather Jr is a massive Super Star in the sport (like you already didn't know that.)

At around $49.95 a pop, the Pay-Per-View brought in an astounding $52 million in cash.

Richard Schaefer the CEO for Golden Boy Promotions had predicted the PPV numbers would be this high. Quoted in the media Schaefer stated: "A lot of people didn't believe us. Maybe I've gained a little credibility with my predictions."

Schaefer went on to add that "Love or Hate" Mayweather, he's the number one Pay-Per-View star on the planet. Hard to argue with his logic!
